Peel back the layers to better understand how science addresses modern day issues.
John F. Kennedy may have expressed it best when on October 22 1963 he addressed the National Academy of Science and stated “science contributes to our culture in many ways, as a creative intellectual activity in its’ own right, as the light which has served to illuminate man’s place in the universe, and as the source of understanding of man’s own nature”. Far too important and all encompassing is the field of science to rest its’ knowledge securely wrapped in the hands of the intellects and far above the grasp of the average man. With this said, the goal of Science-A-Peel, Inc. is to peel back the layers of science and to position education at the center of that role in a fashion that promotes the various branches of science as they address modern-day issues. Science-A-Peel, Inc. will foster a sense of active learning that will develop a more profound understanding/appreciation of the field of science while responding to the pluralism and multiculturalism of the public.
