Lisa Vallone O'Keefe, President and Chairman of the Board
Lisa Vallone O'Keefe's background is in teaching, government and broadcasting. With a MA in Teaching, BS in Law and BA in Broadcasting, O’Keefe has taught in the middle, high school and home bound areas as well as created and became the advisor for a Forensic Speech and Debate Club that progressed to National Competitions. She was a former elected official in Stamford CT who sat on the Committees for Education, Housing & Social Services, and Parks & Recreation.  Her background in government afforded her the know-how to work with budgets as well as how to develop key relationships with the community at large.  Her background in broadcasting, having been a Reporter, Anchor, Producer and Director, afforded her the ability to devise effective promotional campaigns and material.  She is trained and experienced in website site creation as well as television, radio and newspaper projects from writing to producing.

Other Board Members:

Richard Newman, a well known and respected man in science who is credited,in part, with having the largest robotic collection in the world, opening 22 Science & Technology Centers at schools, scout camps, science museums and study centers across the country, judging various science fairs and serving on the Board for a Science Museum in Florida.  He has received numerous awards and honors from such established and respected organizations as NASA and the American Institute of the City of NY.  He has co-hosted a nationally broadcast science show called “Earth Lab” and has been featured in newspapers, magazines, movies and television programs around the world for his accomplishments as well as the exhibiting of his collections of international space items, robots and electric vehicles.   

Elizabeth O'Keefe, Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), a certification in school psychology and  has implemented programs and worked with students with developmental, learning and emotional disabilities. 

Lt. Col. Eugene Coddington, US Army, Masters of Science Management degree, has a strong background in diversification recruitment and training as well as academic program enrichment.  

Charles Muller, B.S. Accounting, N.Y.S. Certified Public Accountant, has a strong background in finance and broadcasting having held such positions as Semi-Senior Auditor - Arthur Andersen & Co, V.P. Finance - Rainbow Media Holdings Consultant at Madison Square Garden, Director of Financial Systems - AMC Networks

Kevin O'Keefe, Masters in Applied Science degree,Project Manager with strong background in formulating and implementing advanced business solutions under tight schedules and pressure.

Barry Sosnick,  MBA Finance, strong background in management and business with such distinctions as being Vice President; Member Board of Directors at 755 Condo Association Board of Directors, CFO at Great Whites Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, Advisory Board; MEIEA Journal Editorial and Reviewer Committee at Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association (MEIEA)

Frank D. Swift, Masters in Computer Science, Masters in Business Administration in Health Planning, BA in Economics, Binghamton University.  Extensive background in computer hardware and in software programming.  

Harold Newell, Extensive background in business development including prospecting new business and expanding sales.

 John F. Kennedy may have expressed it best when on October 22 1963 he addressed the National Academy of Science and stated “science contributes to our culture in many ways, as a creative intellectual activity in its’ own right, as the light which has served to illuminate man’s place in the universe, and as the source of understanding of man’s own nature”. With this said, the goal of Science-A-Peel, Inc. is to peel back the layers of science and to position education at the center of that role in a fashion that promotes the various branches of science as they address modern-day issues. Science-A-Peel, Inc. will foster a sense of active learning that will develop a more profound understanding/appreciation of the field of science while responding to the pluralism and multiculturalism of the public.
